| Sadie made much of her own clothing. She had some standard patterns for trousers, tops and vests which she altered as her size changed. She varied details, materials and trim to suit the season or her mood, making sure there was always a pocket to hold her hanky; and hem and sleeve lengths were perfect. Store-bought clothes were custom tailored as well; you never saw Sadie going around with her pantslegs rolled up! Zelda |
